Full narration

Find a comfortable place to lie down or rest back. Let the day begin to set down.

Close your eyes if that feels comfortable. Let your breathing be easy and unforced.

Bring your attention to your feet. Let them soften. Let them be heavy.

Move your attention slowly up through your legs. Release the knees. Release the hips.

Let your belly rise and fall on its own. There is nothing to control here.

Soften the chest. Soften the shoulders. Let the arms grow heavy against the bed.

Release the small muscles of the face. The forehead. The eyes. The jaw.

If thoughts about tomorrow arrive, let them pass by like cars on a quiet street.

Breathe in calm. Breathe out the weight of the day.

Rest here as long as you like. Sleep can come in its own time.
